I walked into work one Monday last month with a well laid out plan for the day. However, everything changed when I got a tip that Carrie Underwood was engaged. A quick reply from her publicist was all I needed to crank out a quick NewsNow story for our national wire. It just so happened that about a month earlier during rehearsals for the CMA Awards, I asked Carrie what her family thought of her then-boyfriend. Perfect time to use those quotes and put them in my video package!
